Job Summary:
The Director of Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs) is responsible for the overall leadership and operational management of the network ASCs. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care, financial performance, compliance with regulatory standards, and the efficient functioning of the centers. The Director works closely with clinical and administrative staff, as well as senior leadership, to achieve the ASCs’ goals and objectives.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:
A minimum of five years of experience in ASC environment with at least three years in substantive leadership role is required.
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:
Bachelor’s degree in health care, management, business, or health care related field is required. Master’s degree in health care, management, business, or health care related field is preferred.
TRAINING DESCRIPTION:
Certified Administrator Surgery Center (CASC), preferred.
SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:
(1) Strong analytical, strategic thinking, interpersonal interaction, and public speaking skills; knowledge of budgets and health care finance; high integrity; good judgment; and attention to detail. (2) Innovative problem-solving, organizational, and project planning skills, and ability to meet aggressive deadlines.
