Shift: Shift 1
Monday – Friday, with occasional weekends
Performs as the resource for staff regarding Occupational Health processes and procedures. The position is accountable for scheduling of clinic visits, ordering of medical supplies and assisting with policy and procedure review and revisions. Also performs all functions of an Occupational Health Staff RN as assigned and provides professional nursing services to staff of the Froedtert Health (FH). This individual is visible and mobile throughout the clinics to meet the Internal Occupational Health (IOH) needs of the FH staff. Acts as an advocate for the health and safety of staff and their environment. Other duties as assigned.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in Occupational Health, demonstrating leadership and organizational abilities is required. A minimum of two years of experience in areas of general patient care is required.
Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of nursing is required.
SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:
Working knowledge of all equipment used in assessing and giving patient care in a clinic setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact). American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days. COHN-S preferred
