Now Hiring a Pharmacy Operations Manager!

FTE: 1.0, 1st shift 


The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and monitoring pharmacy practice and services at Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital. He/she will oversee the daily activities of the department including, but not limited to drug distribution, technology and automation, inventory management, clinical pharmacy services, drug policy initiatives, and provide overall leadership and supervision of pharmacy staff and operations. The Pharmacy Manager will work collaboratively with other interdisciplinary partners to meet organizational priorities and strategic goals.



  • Minimum of 3 years Hospital pharmacy experience or completion of an ASHP accredited pharmacy practice residency and/or advanced degree is required.
  • Displays a thorough understanding of pharmacology and therapeutics, acquired through a combination of school and experience, in order to recommend appropriate and patient specific therapeutic regimens and subsequently monitor outcomes.
  • Experience in development of new systems, innovative use of pharmacy extenders and improvement initiatives in the areas of pharmacy practice is required. 
  • BS or Pharm. D. degree received from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years Hospital pharmacy experience or completion of an ASHP accredited pharmacy practice residency and/or advanced degree is required.
  • Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Wisconsin pharmacist license (or eligible for) is required. Board certification is preferred.

Demonstrate effective teaching ability. Is able to oversee the medication use process , monitor drug utilization, and implement strategies to manage safe use of medications. Demonstrates the ability to justify and implement new programs. Displays strong leadership skills. Demonstrates ability and willingness to participate in all aspects of human resource management including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, appraising, disciplining, and terminating. Demonstrates competency of word processing skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, as well as a comfort in researching and navigation of the Internet.
