$5,000 sign on bonus!
Shifts are on Mon-Fri; no weekends or holidays. Typical shift hours are 7:45-4:15 to 8:45-5:15. Once fully trained, opportunities exist for some work to be done from home.
Provides technical and clerical assistance to the pharmacist in the monitoring of medication therapy. Functions within the guidelines of Chapter 7 of the Wisconsin Statutes and Administrative Code – Pharmacy Examining Board – Pharmacy Practice Sections.
Two years’ experience as a pharmacy technician is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician program or previous experience as a pharmacy technician is preferred.
SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:
Exceptional customer service and communication skills. Proven attention to detail. Outstanding organizational and follow-up skills. Experience with various computer systems and programs.
Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through passing the Pharmacy Technician Certification Boards exam (PTCE) or the National Healthcareer Associations exam (ExCPT) is required within 6 months of hire.
